Shipping policy

Processing & Dispatch

All orders are processed and dispatched within 1-2 business days of payment confirmation. Orders placed on weekends or UK public holidays will be processed on the next working day.

You will receive a confirmation email once your order has been dispatched.

Shipping Method

We ship all orders via Royal Mail Tracked 48, which provides end-to-end tracking and aims to deliver within 2-3 business days of dispatch. Please note that Royal Mail delivery estimates are not guaranteed and may be subject to delays during busy periods such as Christmas.

Delivery Timeframe

From the date of your order, please allow up to 5 business days for delivery, accounting for both our dispatch time and Royal Mail's delivery estimate.

Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the size and weight of your order.

Order Tracking

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a tracking number by email. You can track your order directly on the Royal Mail website at royalmail.com.

Delivery Area

We currently ship to addresses within the United Kingdom only.

Failed Deliveries

If Royal Mail is unable to deliver your order, they will leave a notification card with instructions for collection or redelivery. Parcels not collected within the Royal Mail holding period will be returned to us. In this event, please contact us and we will arrange redelivery — additional shipping charges may apply.

Lost or Damaged Orders

If your order arrives damaged or does not arrive within 10 business days of dispatch, please contact us at contact@alexyatesengineering.co.uk and we will investigate with Royal Mail and resolve the matter promptly.
